Grafting a Orange branch on Lemon Tree by Cleft grafting | Grafting Citrus Trees | Grafting Plants
This is an orange. I cut off its branches with scissors and removed the leaves on the branches. I will graft it on a lemon tree. I use a blade to cut off the excess and cut the bottom of the branches into a "V shape". This is a lemon tree cut off. Use a razor blade to trim the lower surface of the branch, then cut the branch at a suitable position. Insert the scion into the rootstock and graft it. Finally, wrap it with plastic film and fix it. After a month, I unwrapped the plastic film and you can see that the grafted area has grown. After two months of healing tissue, the orange branches have sprouted. Remove the buds under the rootstock, otherwise it will affect the growth of the scion. The orange branches are growing very well. Remove the remaining plastic film and the grafting area has healed very well.
